Oishi Kimchi Udon

  • Post author:

This is my favourite fall and winter go-to recipe for a quick and soul-warming dinner after a long day. It includes kimchi and tofu which are complemented by the chewy udon noodles from Japan!

Serving: 2 bowls or 1 big bowl

Ingredients:

1 pack Udon noodles

100 gr Tofu

1 Handfull Kimchi

1/2 Onion

1 Handfull Pak choi

3 TBS Korean Sempio Gochujang fermented bean sauce (Chili or Reg, whatever you like)

Topping

Black Sesame Seeds

Instructions

This is simple stuff guys. Cut onion in small pieces, tofu in regular cubes. Add gochujang sauce into pan with 750 ml water, add toufu and onions. After boiling, add udon and pak choi, let simmer for 3-5 min. That’s it. I mean, I know this is not handcrafted high-level food, but its simple and still delicious for those evenings when you don’t want to put in lots effort but still want to enjoy a comforting and warm meal.

Enjoy! いただけま。
